May Campaign Update

On May 13th, Angela was up bright and early to be the first to officially file to be on August’s ballot!! We’re so excited to enter this phase of the campaign. In May we successfully connected with the public at Redmond’s Cinco de Mayo Fiesta, our Post Doc Filing Celebration, and helped to sponsor the Redmond Historical Society’s Annual Fundraiser. Now our focus will be on our door-to-door ‘doorbelling’ program. Here are some additional highlights of what’s new:

T-Shirts Available for Volunteers

Join Team Angela! — To help spread the word about Angela’s campaign for mayor, are now offering free, limited-edition Angela Birney for Mayor t-shirts and “I Know Angela” buttons to volunteers. To get one, all you need to do is promise to wear them around town. By simply walking around public events wearing your Angela gear you’re likely to start a conversation. There’s no pressure, simply be present and be yourself. Contact us to join the team.

Doorbelling Signups –Angela is now going door-to-door connecting with community members. She needs two people to go along with her during each doorbelling session. Specifically, she needs:

Drivers – Transport team between neighborhoods (you don’t even need to leave the car)

Doorbellers – Go door-to-door to find people at home for maximum efficiency

Signup Today! Please check back often, as dates and locations will be added.
